Frequently asked questions
Who is this program for?
September Strong is designed for educators, educational assistants, support staff, and school personnel who want to build strength, create consistent exercise habits, and feel more confident in their bodies during the busy transition back to school.
Do I need previous strength training experience?
Not at all. This program is beginner-friendly and includes guidance on proper technique, workout modifications, and progressive strength training principles. Whether you're brand new to lifting or returning after a long break, you'll have a clear path forward.
How much time do I need each week?
The program includes 2-3 workouts per week. Most workouts can be completed in approximately 45 minutes, making them realistic to fit into a busy school schedule.
Do I need access to a gym?
A gym membership is recommended because it provides the greatest variety of equipment for building strength. However, exercises can often be modified based on the equipment you have available.
What if I've never used gym equipment before?
You'll receive exercise demonstrations and coaching support to help you learn proper form and feel confident using equipment safely.
What happens if I miss a workout?
Life happens, especially during the school year. This program focuses on consistency, not perfection. Missed workouts don't mean you've failed. You'll simply pick up where you left off.
Will I receive a personalized workout plan?
The program follows a structured strength-training framework designed to help participants progressively build strength. Guidance and modifications are available to help you adapt the program to your needs.
What support will I receive during the program?
You'll have access to:
- Weekly group coaching calls
- A private Facebook community
- Weekly accountability and encouragement
